This crazy thing called life. Nothing but a “science of imaginary solutions”.
The
biggest difference between reality and fiction is, in my opinion, the fact that
reality is a pattern and fiction is a personalized reality. Boris Vian was a
writer, translator, engineer, inventor and musician. Integrity spread in so
many parts by Boris Vian captures, hits, annihilates and finally heals one from
the sickness of living in an artificially created reality. I feel and perceive
him as a giant and harmonious octopus, which has many powerful, yet gentle
tentacles, each of them representing a creation of his. The jewel which Boris
Vian inspired me to create is to be placed in the area of the head, where the
“seeds” of our perception are said to be planted. The materialization of this
jewel resulted in the form of two small octopuses having long tentacles which
are capable of increasing the level on which information is to be perceived.
The materials I used have the attributes necessary in accomplishing this
mission: both wood and silver are excellent energy conductors and, by that, of
pure, unaltered information.
